Gender: Female
Species: Unknown ("cold blooder")
Body type: Naga/humanoid serpent
Location: Sejan pond
Player romance: Yes, male players only

Sulie is a solitary character found at the Sejan pond, far from the noise of the civilisation. Her species is unknown, and she only makes a distinction between cold blooders (herself) and warm blooders (the player).

Background[edit | edit source]

Sulie comes from a hidden, secluded village which is possibly a species enclave. However, she doesn't seem to like the life in the village, and prefers to spend her time elsewhere. She is a hunter and thus has the excuse to not appear in the village for extended periods of time, as she would like to see the world by herself and talk to it's people freely. In contrast, her village doesn't like outsiders and are openly hostile towards them, doesn't do trade with them, and doesn't approve of others interacting with strangers.

For her job as a hunter, she uses a slingshot with stones as its main ammunition. She also utilises her venom when dealing with difficult prey in that she covers 'prickleberry seeds' in it. Slinging it hard enough at her target gets them lodged in her prey and the venom paralyses the animal, she has had it work in creatures up to three times her size. If the venom is administered in a large enough dosage, it paralyses internal organs too, causing the victim's lungs and heart to stop.

She is quite afraid of being impregnated by one of her own kind, as that would put a quick end to her outside world adventures and by the village's custom she would become subservient to one of the settlement's males. She does get lonely in the wilderness, however, and so she finds some qualities in the local fauna. Bluntly put, she's a zoophile.

Player interactions[edit | edit source]

The player can converse with Sulie about her life and what she is doing on Sejan. They can also ask her about the local fauna and get information on them, in the same way Miggpli gives it. Her perspective is less academic, though, and her way of conversation gets suspiciously awkward when the topic turns to befriending the animals or seeing their mating habits. If the player keeps talking to her about the local wildlife, and if they have Charisma 6, they can point out how weirdly she keeps talking about the animals, and if they pry enough, they can confront Sulie if she does something 'else' with them. If the point is directly addressed, she confesses to having sex with the animals.

If the player condemns her behaviour, she slithers away in shame and disappears from the game. If the player is more supportive of her actions (or even admits to doing the same), she explains that she does it because she gets lonely, but she is afraid of getting impregnated by one of her kind's males, or by any male for that matter. If the player knows about bitter water, they can tell her about it and say that it can be bought in town. However, since the village elders wouldn't approve of her interacting with outsiders, she asks the player to fetch it for her. If the player doesn't know about bitter water, they can suggest some less elegant solutions which Sulie dismisses.

When the player obtains a bottle of bitter, they can give her the contraceptive. If the player character is male, she offers sex as a repayment. She warns that she likes to be aggressive when having fun, and it turns out to be quite a truthful statement. When about to intensify the fun, first she threatens to bite the player with her venomous fangs, and after that she pushes the player under water without warning, forcing them down with her bodyweight. With a Strength 10 check, the player can push her off. She gets upset by this and is disinterested in further fun. She does apologise on the next visit, but the player can forget about getting some of that tail.

Behind the scenes[edit | edit source]

There is an invisible counter in her dialogue, where if the player notices enough of the weird things she says about the local wildlife, they can continue with her content. Out of four Sejan creature conversations, one (for Poh-acks) always adds one point to a counter and two (for Braqs and Cuoxurs) add points to the counter if clicking on Charisma 6 options. The question about Niirds doesn't give any points. When the counter's value is at 3, the confrontation option should appear in her main dialogue tree.
