Teraurge begins when the Witch brings the player across dimensions to her house, which is located in the Sejan peninsula. Sejan is comprised of the peninsula itself, a patch of land on the mainland, and several islands northwest of the peninsula. Sejan is isolated from the rest of the world by oceans and impassable mountain ranges. The only settlement in Sejan, Taodal, is located on the very southern tip of the peninsula. Land passages to the continental mainland are cut off by an iron gate and a wall built by unknown people. Therefore, Taodal relies on maritime transport for trade and contact with the outside world.

Sejan is located in the north-west of Noih and has overall a temperate, warm climate. It is home to several types of wildlife that can attack the player if they approach or provoke them. It is important to note that even if the player loses a fight with most of the creatures of the peninsula, they prefer to not kill the player. Some species are deadlier than others though, so caution should always be observed when dealing with the wildlife of Sejan.

The peninsula is littered with spearheads), ruins, and unknown ancient artefacts. Some speculate that long ago, a war happened in the area. Others suggest that the aforementioned blockages were built to keep something in the peninsula rather than the other way around. There's also a suspicious number of various holes and pits around the peninsula, and the few underground areas where the player has access to show their walls littered with tiny tunnels, implying that the area isn't geologically stable. Whether the tunnels under the peninsula are natural or not is unknown.
