Robot arm

An old-looking and banged up robot arm. It's strangely human arm-shaped, with five fingers. The material is soft but reinforced by an underlying skeleton.

Fairly advanced cybernetics exist in Noih, although they are quite rare and expensive.

One piece of such technology is a robotic right arm that can be bargained for by the player when helping Naigad with some literal wet work. Even though Naigad bought the arm for a specific purpose, it's got broken by the time it is supposed to be used. The player can either leave it alone, fix it, or fry it trying to fix it. To its credit, if it is successfully fixed, it does its job without a hitch.

If chosen as payment by the player, it can be given to Taulsol after the player gets intimate with him. However, since he's missing a left arm, and the prosthetic is in the shape of a right arm, it looks a little silly on him. He doesn't mind at all, though.

Technology[edit | edit source]

The arm uses something called biomuh to connect the cybernetics to the patient's nerve system, bones and muscle tissue by growing tendrils between them and the electronics. It allows the person to feel the arm and to control it naturally.

The quick procedure to attach it is to wet the soft end, poke holes into the flesh where the arm is to be attached, press them together, and turn the device on. It takes some time to attach itself, and the patient may experience some tickling sensations. Once that passes, the arm is ready and fully functional.
